Of course, there's nothing like the original... or is there?

"Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" is an Elton John/ Bernie Taupin composition originally recorded by The Rocket Man for his 1974 Caribou album. It was released as a single and made it to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

11 years later... it was performed at Live Aid by George Michael, featuring EJ on keyboards with background vocals by Wham! bandmate Andrew Ridgley and Elton duet partner Kiki Dee.

But wait... there's more!

Michael regularly performed the song as part of his Cover to Cover tour... and brought out Elton as a special guest to perform the duet for the final concert at Wembley Stadium. This live version from 1991 took "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" to #1!

What better Easter Egg than Elton appearing on a George Michael cover of his own song?
