About two thirds of us believe there is intelligent life beyond earth even though the only evidence so far is circumstantial. Since the universe is so massive, there must be some intelligent extraterrestrial life. But so far, the quest to find alien life in space has come up empty. Researchers in Australia, in one of the biggest searches to date, say after scanning billions of stars and 144 known planets for signs of alien life — but found nothing.
