Feeling stressed? Put your hand over our heart. It may sound strange but placing your hand over your heart as though you were reciting the Pledge of Allegiance for one minute is one of the most effective ways to lower anxiety, anytime, anywhere.

Another study found that people who ate the most fruit scored the lowest on tests measuring depression, plus they reported the highest levels of mental well-being. (The same thing cannot be said about vegetables.)
