Don't kiss up to the boss face to face. The boss will see right through you and just brush you off as another brown noser, so ya have to be more subtle. Tell everyone else in the workplace how great your superioris, or how much you admire their leadership. The boss will hear about it, assume it is sincere and appreciate your support. Direct butt kissing will hurt your career but getting others to butt kiss on your behalf with get you ahead.
