Being the “Leader of the Free World” is not a job that interests many Americans. Pollsters asked people how interested they would be in
serving as President of the United States for a day. Most (55 percent) say they are not very interested or not at all interested in the job.
And in a rare meeting of the minds, Democrats and Republicans are equally likely to say, “Thanks, but no thanks.”
