they found:

Women tend to spend more money than men.

Men are more likely to lie, cheat or steal for money.

Women are more anxious about money.

Men attach more value to money.

The politically conservative are more materialistic than the politically progressive.

And compulsive spenders, like penny-pinchers, tend to have low self-esteem.
